Christian Education

• Is comprised of our Youth Ministry
• Children’s Church is a worship service held every Sunday except 2nd Sunday (youth day)
• Vacation Bible School is held yearly for a week in June

Superintendent of Church School

The superintendent shall be the director of the school, exercising the authority and performing the duties usually pertaining to the office.

1. In conjunction with the pastor, the Superintendent and the Christian Education Committee shall be responsible for the selection of teachers of the school.
2. In conjunction with the Pastor, and Christian Education Committee, the Superintendent shall be responsible for the fostering of the program of Christian Education through the Sunday School.

Sunday School

One of the two major areas in which you can obtain spiritual wisdom and knowledge about our Lord and Savior.  Sunday School is held each Sunday and begins promptly with devotion at 9:00 a.m.  Classes range from Nursery – Senior Adults.  The lessons are inspirational, motivational, and aligned with the International Sunday School through Progressive National Baptist Convention.  Lessons are taught by well-trained teachers who have a love and zeal for the word of God.  The 66 Books of the Bible are explored and each Sunday a challenging lesson is had to help anyone with finding their way through life’s daily situations.   Classes reassemble to review and restate the lessons aim and the goal for the week.  Refreshments are given to provide physical nourishment prior to morning worship.  Sunday School ends at 10:30 a.m.
