Auxiliaries

All auxiliaries must deposit finances to the general church treasury on the first Sunday of each month.

The Inspirational Choir

The seasoned male and female harmonious, angelic voices that render songs ranging from Dr. Watts to Contemporary Gospel. The Inspirational Choir has stirred the souls of many through song and has historically led Antioch to the mountain top and back during many worship services. The Inspirational Choir sings each 1st and 4th Sunday of the month and for all special occasions at home and abroad. Choir rehearsal is held the Wednesday prior to the 1st and 4th Sunday.

The Male Chorus

This group of men are servants of God who are sending up timber, building a home, and praising the Lord with songs from past to present. They provide and lead the music ministry on the 3rd Sunday of each month, and they also accompany the pastor on special outings and fellowships. The Male Chorus rehearsals are held the Wednesday prior to the 3rd Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

The Youth Choir

An excited bunch of youth who knows how to sing for Jesus. They are excited to tell you in song that, “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hand.” Children singing for the Lord, praising Him in their innocence and loving every moment! The youth choir consists of our youth members. This group meets for rehearsal on the Wednesday prior to the 2nd Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

The Nurses Guild

Consists of caring individuals of all ages who are concerned about the healthcare of Antioch members and the community at large. They provide assistance to those in need during all worship services. If you need anything, i.e., water, tissue, smelling salt, blood pressure checked, CPR, etc. they are trained willing workers. The ministry also provides various healthcare brochures, workshops and tidbits to aid in the overall wellness of the congregation. The Nurses Guild also has Candy Stripers who are youth who work along with them. The guild meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

The Ushers

Consists of those young at heart. The juniors and seniors of Antioch walk and work hand in hand as God’s servants. The doorkeepers and greeters of Antioch go above and beyond the call of duty each and every Sunday. They welcome you with a smile, extended hands and opened arms. They are excited about keeping order and maintaining the flow of each service. They help usher in the spirit of reverence for this place of worship. The ushers have been in existence in Antioch and is another historic group, well- trained, organized and on fire for the Lord. They participate in all services in house, on the district, state and national levels keeping with their motto, ‘I’d rather be a doorkeeper . . .’ The Ushers, meet combined with the Jr. Ushers on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
